The Third Wave Water packets make it simple to add minerals to our 5 Gallon Fresh Water Tanks. One packet treats 5 gallons of water. The box contains 12 packets, which will make 60 gallons of water!
The espresso profile is versatile and delivers great tasting coffee with any brewing method.

Coffee is 98% water, which means water plays a large part in how coffee will taste. Incorrect or missing minerals in your water can lead to bitterness and damage equipment. The Third Wave Water approach is simple. Start with “empty” (distilled or reverse osmosis) water and add the premixed minerals.
Stop wrestling with your water.
Get distilled or reverse osmosis water.
Add 1 packet for 5 gallons of water. Note: it works best to fill the tank with approx. 1 gallon of water, add the packet, and shake vigorously to dissolve the minerals before filling the tank completely.
Brew like normal.
For mixing in the minerals, you can also purchase the Carboy Mixer from Thirdwave Water. If you do not fully use the mineralized water within 2 days, we recommend shaking the tank or mixing again to ensure there is no settling of undissolved minerals.
